Goodbye 2023, Hello 2024!

Updated: Jan 9

Dale (Come On), Let's Travel Back in Time to Review 2023! Before we get started, this is my second recap blog post for you, which means we have made it over the one-year mark of Dale, Let's Travel! It is such an exciting feat - I hope to bring you a yearly Dale, Let's Travel! recap until I grow old.

If you have been following me along this adventure from the start, you know there have been a lot of changes since DLT! first commenced, and we are now in our "New Era!" Now, what does this mean? In short, I have been focusing less on social media and more on creating meaningful, informative, and useful content for my readers!

I want to be your go-to website when researching things to do around you or across the world. As such, I am working on covering as many travel topics as I can, as fast as I can for my Dale community to help relieve the ache of researching the entire internet on your end.

With that, you have probably noticed an increase in blog posts a week, a shift in the tone of each article, some past articles have been revamped, and the fact that DLT! now has a piece of merchandise for sale! If you have yet to purchase your 3x3 inch DLT! sticker, email me at contactus@daleletstravel.com with the subject line "DLT! Sticker" to get one. They are only $5 and ship free within the United States! You can find an illustration of the sticker below.

Now, let's hop into the recap of some of our favorite reads of the year!

Florida

There were so many great blog posts about Florida this year from learning about Tiger Wood's new mini-golf course that has made its way to Florida to discovering 15 great places to visit in Key West!

Here are a few of the best articles for your reading pleasure:

Cruises

A cruise vacation is like no other! Many people who have experienced a cruise say that they have never been able to disconnect from the real world while on vacation as much as they can on a cruise vacation. There is just something about being in the middle of the ocean surrounded by water while traveling in a floating city with unlimited food and beverages. It is the epitome of relaxation!

International Travel

This year, I began to write a few blog posts based on different things to do in international destinations, and I plan to write a lot more in 2024!

Arizona and Las Vegas

This year, we spent two weeks in and around Las Vegas, so I had plenty to write about there. Typically, when you think of visiting Las Vegas, you think of the casinos and partying, but there is so much more to do than that. You can also use Las Vegas as your hub for road trips to the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park, to name a few.

Weekend Getaways

Sometimes, taking a week or two off for travel is not feasible, so a weekend getaway becomes the next best thing! Besides, the more weekend getaways you embark on, the more you get to explore!

I have written a good amount of weekend getaway blog posts, but here are some of the top ones:

Travel Tips

Traveling is a lot of fun; however, it can also be stressful when it comes to prepping and packing. That is why I have crafted some articles to aid you in packing for your adventure! You will also find guides on scoring the best deals for your trip and discovering an incredible travel credit card that I personally use and adore.

California is known for its beautiful palm trees, temperate weather, great beaches, and Disneyland! There is so much to do and see in California, and I got you covered with some great articles.
