Deck 16


Ellipticals and treadmills at the Fitness Center

- Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center (Exercise Equipment): On this deck, you will find treadmills, rowing machines, ellipticals, free weights, and other exercise equipment and space to get your daily workout in to stay fit and healthy during your cruise.

The best part is that you will have a spectacular view of the open ocean, ports of call, nearby glaciers, and mountains while you work out with the floor-to-ceiling windows enclosing the gym! Moreover, various fitness classes are hosted here, from stretching to yoga.

North Star Pod and the North Star Bar

- North Star: A glass-enclosed observation capsule aboard that provides 360-degree views from 300 feet above sea level. Operated by a mechanical arm, the pod ascends and descends, extending out over the side of the ship for a thrilling ride lasting 15 to 20 minutes.

This attraction holds the Guinness World Record for the tallest viewing deck on a cruise ship. Additional fees may apply.


- Top Floor of the SeaPlex: On this level, you will find an Xbox area, ping pong tables, foosball tables, air hockey tables, and arcade-style bowling, providing endless entertainment for guests of all ages. While most of these activities are available for open play, some are designated for competition-style events at specific times.


- RipCord by iFLY®: Experience indoor skydiving at sea! You can reserve this thrilling activity for free on the Royal Caribbean app while onboard and enjoy a complimentary minute of flight time, or opt for an extended session for an additional fee and receive two minutes of flight time.

Prices vary depending on your cruise, but recent rates onboard were $90 for a 2-minute session. Booking before sailing may offer better deals; for instance, we secured a 2-minute flight for $55.

FlowRider and iFLY at Quantum of the Seas

- FlowRider®: A surf simulator onboard provides exhilarating fun. Access to the FlowRider® is complimentary during operating hours, with designated time slots for boogie boarding and surfing - you can join the line when you are ready to participate.

Private surfing lessons are also available for an extra fee. Remember, Alaskan cruise itineraries tend to be chilly, so pack suitable swimwear to enjoy this activity.

Deck 15



- Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center (Spa Rooms and Salon): This deck features the "ShipShape Spa," consisting of the Spa Reception, Beauty Salon, treatment rooms, relaxation lounge, thermal suite, and more. Treat yourself to acupuncture, Botox, couple massages, manicures, haircuts, and other services at this onboard Sea Spa.

Outdoor running / walking track

- Running Track: Deck 15 features a running track that loops around the deck. While the track is somewhat narrow and can be busy with people walking or maneuvering through the area, it still provides a convenient space for your workout and excellent views from this elevated vantage point.

- North Star Bar: Situated at the bottom of the North Star's loading platform is a small beverage bar featuring outdoor seating, including a few daybeds. From this spot, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the outdoor pool and even catch the entertainment displayed on the massive movie screen.

Arcade games

- Arcade / Gaming Area: Get your game on and challenge your friends at skeeball, air hockey, racing games, and more. Surcharges apply. 

- Fuel Teen Disco: Teen-only Disco, a perfect late-night party spot with a DJ

Bumper cars at the SeaPlex in the Quantum of the Seas

- Main Level of the SeaPlex: At Quantum of the Seas' SeaPlex, versatility reigns supreme, ensuring there is something for everyone on board. Alongside the usual free-play basketball, the complex offers an extensive range of activities, including badminton, soccer, archery, rollerblading, bumper cars, and laser tag.

Additionally, guests can indulge in leisurely games of jumbo Jenga and cornhole around the court perimeter.

This sports complex stands out as one of the most diverse we have encountered onboard, becoming a daily visit during our cruise. Consult the Royal Caribbean app during your voyage to stay updated on available activities and their scheduling.

While some activities like rollerblading and laser tag require reservations, most are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

SeaPlex Dog House

- SeaPlex Doghouse: Following all the excitement in the Seaplex, you are likely to work up an appetite. Head over to the Dog House, where you can enjoy complimentary hot dogs, sausages, potato salad, and cole slaw. These delicious offerings are available all-you-can-eat during operating hours.

Rock Climbing

- Rock Climbing Wall: Right outside the SeaPlex is the rock climbing wall, available for free play at various times throughout the day. Additionally, scheduled competitions add an extra layer of excitement to the experience.

Deck 14



- Solarium Top Deck: A serene adults-only sanctuary featuring a central 3-tiered pool and two spacious whirlpools on each side. This enclosed area offers a tranquil environment where guests can bask in the warmth and humidity while enjoying the water.

Abundant lounge chairs, seats, and daybeds provide ample space for relaxation or for keeping personal belongings close while taking a dip.

Breakfast buffet line at the Solarium Bistro

- Solarium Bistro: A Mediterranean eatery serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Nestled behind the Sunshine Bar within the Solarium area, the restaurant boasts a buffet featuring fresh ingredients and Mediterranean-inspired flavors. Diners have the option to dine indoors or al fresco. Reservations can be made using the Royal Caribbean app, or guests can join the waitlist for a table.

- Sunshine Bar: Located in the Solarium is the Sunshine Bar, where an assortment of beverages awaits, ranging from juices and smoothies to cocktails. Perfect for enjoying a delicious drink while lounging in the Solarium.

Indoor Pool and Whirlpool

- Pools and Whirlpools: The ship boasts two main pool areas accessible to all passengers: the indoor pool with a retractable roof and the outdoor pool. Each pool is complemented by whirlpools on both sides, allowing guests to enjoy the water even in the cooler Alaskan climate.

Additionally, there is a bar on each side of the pool area: the Pool Bar (Indoor) and the Sky Bar (Outdoor). Those accustomed to the cold can choose the outdoor pools and whirlpools, all while taking in a splendid view of the massive movie screen.

Outdoor Pool and Movie Screen

- Movie Screen: Enjoy funny videos, sports events, and movies on the big screen daily at the outdoor pool area. 

- Sprinkles: Near the outdoor pool are the Sprinkles Ice Cream Machines. They serve vanilla, chocolate, and swirl and are open daily, check the Royal Caribbean app for hours of operation.

- H20 Zone: This area is perfect for infants, toddlers, and young children. Toddlers and young ones can have fun in the small wave pool, while babies can delight in the nearby splash pad.

Noodle Shop at Quantum of the Seas

- Noodle Shop: Treat yourself to a selection of delights, from four-piece dim sum to noodle bowls like Taiwanese spicy beef noodles, along with desserts such as sesame balls and custard tart.

While this restaurant is not complimentary, complimentary offerings include chicken tenders, mini hot dogs, and chocolate chip cookies. Additionally, the noodle shop items typically range from $2 to $6, depending on the selection.

- The Living Room: A club lounge for teenagers aged 12 - 17. There is plenty of space for lounging, socializing, games, and movies.  

- Coastal Kitchen:  A complimentary suite-only California-Mediterranean fusion restaurant.


- Windjammer Marketplace: This buffet restaurant offers an array of international cuisine and operates for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Consult the Royal Caribbean app for its hours of operation.

While the majority of food options are available for self-service at the different islands, there are also various made-to-order stations throughout the day.

For example, during breakfast, guests can visit the omelet station and customize their omelets to their liking. At lunch and dinner, there are pasta and wok stations. Additionally, guests can indulge in a wide selection of desserts and pastries.

- Solarium Bottom Deck: On the lower level of this adults-only retreat, you will encounter the two large whirlpools on each side, accompanied by additional lounge chairs and access to the exterior wings of the ship, offering splendid forward views.

If you prefer to remain in the cozy warmth, you can enjoy the view from the large forward-view panoramic window at the front of the solarium.

Conference Center

- Conference Center: A venue for hosting company meetings, weddings, or other private events.

- Staterooms: Mostly occupied by staterooms, this deck features Studio Interior Staterooms, Interior Staterooms with Virtual Balcony, Balcony Rooms, Junior Suites, and Grand Suites.

Adventure Ocean signage

- Adventure Ocean (Top Floor): Adventure Ocean serves as the dedicated youth club on Royal Caribbean ships, providing a lively environment where young cruisers can interact with kids of similar ages and engage in entertaining activities under the guidance of enthusiastic staff members.

The Explorers Room caters to children aged 6-8, while the Voyagers Room is for kids aged 9-11. Additionally, there is a science lab open to all ages, offering supervised opportunities for fun and educational science experiments.

- Staterooms: Primarily housing staterooms, this deck features Interior, Balcony, and Suite accommodations.

- Concierge Club: A private lounge and bar reserved for guests staying in Grand Suites and above, as well as for Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members.

Deck 11


Adventure Ocean cartoons on the wall

- Adventure Ocean (Bottom Floor): The lower level of Adventure Ocean caters to younger children. The Aquanauts Room welcomes potty-trained kids aged 3 to 5 years old.

The Royal Babies & Tots Nursery offers babysitting services for Royal Babies aged 6-18 months, while Royal Tots accommodates toddlers aged 18-36 months, provided they are fully potty trained. Hourly fees apply per child for those under 3 years of age.

- Staterooms: Primarily housing staterooms, this deck features Interior, Oceanview, Balcony, and Suite accommodations.

Deck 7 - 10



The entire deck is dedicated to staterooms, offering a variety of room categories. 

Interior: Studio Interior, Interior with Virtual Balcony, and Connecting Interior
Ocean View: Ocean View and Spacious Ocean View
Balcony: Obstructed Ocean View Balcony, Studio Ocean View Balcony, Ocean View with Large Balcony, Ocean View Balcony, and Connecting Ocean View Balcony
Suites: Sky Loft Suite, Grand Loft Suite with Balcony, Junior Suite with Large Balcony, Junior Suite, Grand Suite - 1 Bedroom, Grand Suite - 2 Bedroom, Owner's Loft Suite with Balcony, and Royal Loft Suite

Additionally, each of the four main category types includes accessible stateroom options.

Deck 6


- Staterooms: Primarily housing staterooms, this deck features Interior, Balcony, and Suite accommodations.


- Library: Located on the second floor of Two70, the Library is furnished with cozy chairs, tables, books, board games, and computers. It also functions as a Card Room and Internet Cafe.

- The Workshop: This room hosts a variety of enrichment activities, such as guest lectures, demonstrations, art sessions, crafting classes, and self-led Friends of Bill W. meetings. Additionally, it serves as an excellent private space for self-reflection when not in use for scheduled events.

- Two70° (Top Floor Viewing): This is the upper balcony of the venue, Two70. 

Deck 5


- The Royal Theatre (Top Floor Viewing): This is the balcony viewing of the Royal Theatre. 

- Photo Gallery: Check out your professional pictures at the photo gallery and purchase your favorite images. 

Schooner Bar

- Schooner Bar: Nautical-themed piano bar where expertly crafted cocktails blend seamlessly with live entertainment.

- Chops Grille: A premium steakhouse seafood restaurant where the chefs meticulously hand-cut, season, and grill each steak according to your preferences. It is one of the specialty restaurants available onboard.

Izumi Japanese Restaurant

- Izumi: Offering an exotic Asian-inspired dining experience featuring delicious sushi rolls, fresh sashimi, and nigiri. Indulge in izakaya-style appetizers and rolls, spanning from classic to imaginative creations. It is one of the specialty restaurants available onboard.

Bionic Bar

- Bionic Bar: This is the world's first bar run entirely by robots, acting as mixologists and bartenders. Two robotic arms prepare and serve cocktails, with all bottles hanging from the ceiling.

The cocktails are delivered in plastic cups via four conveyor belts, and the orders are placed using tablets. The menu features a selection of classic and signature cocktails and the option for custom-made concoctions.

A TV display showcases the ordered drinks, their ingredients, and estimated wait times. Customers can give individual names to their orders, which appear on the screen for tracking while the robot prepares them.


- Wonderland: Wonderland Imaginative Cuisine thrives on pushing culinary boundaries to delight your taste buds and captivate your senses with visually stunning dishes. Upon receiving your menu, you will find it initially blank.

However, brushing the menu with a paintbrush dipped in water, each dish magically appears on the page. It is another one of the specialty restaurants available onboard.

Shore Excursions desk and tablets

- Shore Excursions: This section of the ship is dedicated to exploring Royal Caribbean's excursion offerings during your cruise. You can use the provided tablets to book and plan your excursions, with assistance available from knowledgeable crew members to help you through the process.

- Tiffany & Co: One of the shops available onboard. 

- BVLGARI: One of the shops available onboard.

- The Via: Situated within the Esplanade, forms an oval-shaped area adorned with a small seating arrangement encircling the futuristic glass sculpture titled "Waves of Light."

- Jamie's Italian: Indulge in Tuscan-inspired cuisine at Jamie's Italian by Jamie Oliver, where you can savor dishes meticulously crafted by one of Britain’s most renowned chefs.

Experience a fusion of seasonal ingredients and authentic recipes in family-style dishes, ranging from homemade pasta and traditional Italian entrees to contemporary creations with rustic influences. It is one of the specialty restaurants available onboard.

- Vintages: A vintage wine bar that also sells champagne and appetizers. 

- Next Cruise: A desk where you can book your next Royal Caribbean cruise and/or purchase a Next Cruise deposit with special onboard incentives. 


- The Café @ Two70°: A gourmet marketplace offering delightful meals and breathtaking views. Select from savory hot-pressed sandwiches, crisp custom-made salads, homemade soups, and more. Enjoy your meal while gazing out of the floor-to-ceiling windows in Two70® or anywhere else onboard.

- Parker West Art Work: Adjacent to The Café @ Two70° lies a charming display of artwork by Parker West. Feel free to admire the pieces, explore purchase options, and join events facilitated by art consultants, ready to assist with any inquiries.


- Two70° (Main Level): Two70° is a spacious lounge spanning two decks, boasting breathtaking 270-degree sea views through its floor-to-ceiling glass walls. Situated in the aft of the ship, Two70° seamlessly integrates entertainment and technology to offer a distinct experience from day to night. By day, it is a relaxed hangout spot furnished with tables, couches, and comfortable chairs.


Additionally, guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast, lunch, and snacks at the café. In the evening, Two70° transforms into a venue for free shows, complete with a bar and a stage area equipped with hidden lifts, trap doors, and torpedo tubes, creating an illusion of performers appearing out of nowhere. Renowned as the ship's most stylish and adaptable space, Two70° captivates guests with its versatility and allure.

Deck 4



- The Royal Theatre: On this deck, you will find the main entrance to The Royal Theatre with a pop-up bar in front selling premium beverages.

- Crown Lounge: The exclusive Crown Lounge is a tribute to their brand's heritage and unwavering dedication to their most devoted guests. Reserved solely for Diamond, Diamond Plus, and Pinnacle Club Crown & Anchor® Society members, this space offers special perks, including complimentary bites available throughout the day and access to a dedicated concierge.

- Music Hall (Top Level): The top floor of the Music Hall offers a bar, plenty of seating, and a few billiard tables. There is also a spiraling staircase to get to the main floor of Music Hall.


- Various Shops (Impulse, Kiehl's, Michael Kors, Ferragamo, Prince & Greene, Beauty and Sunglasses, Regalia, The Shop, and more): A duty-free shopping area filled with various shops and renowned brand boutiques.

- Casino VIP: An exclusive lounge for high-stakes poker gaming, accessible by invitation only and featuring a bar service.

Harp and Horn Pub in the Royal Promenade

- Harp & Horn Pub (English Pub): An authentic English/Irish-style pub featuring nightly live entertainment.

- Royal Esplanade: Experience the vibrant shopping and entertainment district on board, fashioned to resemble a bustling street. You will find various lounges, bars, restaurants, luxury boutiques, and shops selling duty-free merchandise.

The Royal Esplanade boasts stunning design and decor, including original artwork, innovative multimedia technologies, live music, and other exciting features.


- Sorrento's (Pizza): Authentic New York-style pizza for a delicious and complimentary dining option.

- Cafe Promenade: A 24-hour complimentary casual cafe offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and desserts.

La Patisserie

- La Patisserie: La Patisserie is a specialty coffee bar available at an additional charge. Exclusively available on Quantum Class ships, this café-style eatery offers a selection of coffee and pastries, perfect for a quick breakfast on the move.

Choose from a menu of à la carte items, including chocolate-based treats, bonbons, truffles, Danish pastries, cookies, cakes, and Starbucks drinks.


- Boleros: A Latin-themed club and bar offering lively entertainment and drinks. However, during our voyage, there were no Latin bands; instead, there were tropical and pop bands. 

Guest Services

- Guest Services: The place to go with any guest inquiry. 


- Silk and American Icon Grill (Main Dining Room - MDR): Two of four main dining rooms onboard. Silk has an Asian theme, and American Icon Grill has an American modern, chrome theme. You can enjoy world-class cuisine and exceptional service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Deck 3


- The Royal Theatre (Main Sitting Area): As the primary show lounge for Broadway-style dance performances, this theater presents full-length production shows, rotating Headliners, popular game shows, and bingo sessions.

While the main entrance is on Deck 4, guests descend a long staircase to reach the main seating and stage area on Deck 3. The Royal Theatre hosts daily activities, so be sure to catch one of the engaging events during your voyage.


- Music Hall (Main Level and Dance Floor): This show lounge features live music performances, DJ parties, and dance sessions. Additionally, they host game shows such as "Who Wants to Feel Like a Millionaire" and "Battle of the Sexes." Please note that in the evenings, the Music Hall is exclusively open to guests aged 18 and older.

Casino Royale with table games and slot machines

- Casino Royale: A spacious Vegas-style gambling lounge featuring hundreds of slot machines, multiple gaming tables, and a full-service Casino Bar. Please note that it is accessible only when the ship is in international waters.

- The Grande and Chic (MDR) - The other two of four main dining rooms onboard. The Grande has a simple, elegant design, and Chic has a more modern, sleek, clean look design. 

Deck 2


Medical Center sign

- Medical Center: The ship's infirmary, also known as the onboard hospital, is staffed by licensed nurses and doctors who are available around the clock. While the medical center does not accept land-based health insurance plans onboard, you may be able to submit a claim with your health insurance provider.
